Heart-felt Testimony
The follwing poem that was written by Suzanne Lindsley, a participant on
Chrysalis Flight #17. This poem is her heart-felt testimony of how
the Chrysalis weekend has touched her life.
CHRYSALIS/FOREVER CHANGED ARE WE!
As we begin our NEW LIFE, by leaving this place,
Stay STRONG and TRUST GOD, Because there will be hard times to face.
We've learned a lot, how to TRUST, how to LIVE,
most importantly we've learned how to LOVE and how to GIVE.
We've GIVEN up EVERYTHING, all of our doubts and our fears,
So we may be better WITNESSES for GOD throughout the years.
We came here as CATERPILLARS, CONFUSED and ALONE,
hoping a NEW way of LIFE for us would be shown.
Then we crawled into our CHRYSALIS so safe and so warm,
our special little place that will FOREVER CHANGE out form.
But now we've emerged, so FRESH and NEW,
A beautiful, BUTTERFLY, now are you!
This weekend, has CHANGED all of our LIVES,
Fly BUTTERFLIES! Fly for CHRIST!
Spread your wings BUTTERFLY, Show everyone GOD'S LOVE,
And know GOD is SMILING, and WATCHING YOU, from above!
